A gifted song writer and lyricist, Pat's music evokes a range of emotions and has a
powerful effect on every listener. You'll smile at the clever wit of "Higamous Hogamous".
"One Last Goodbye" will take you on your own sentimental journey. With haunting
melodies and poignant, heartfelt lyrics, here is a collection of memorable songs. Enjoy!
Pat and husband Jack Yorton formed the group Prime Time in 1999. The quartet has
played to enthusiastic crowds in the central Florida area for more than 10 years. They
play a variety of cherished standards as well as many of Pat's original compositions. Here
is the group's self titled debut CD from 1999, featuring Pat on Piano, Jack on Trumpet,
John Carlton on Bass and Darryl Johnson on Drums. It was recorded at Carlton Music
Center in Winter Haven, FL.
Pat's recording career has spanned six decades and, in fact, continues to this day.
Her first recording contract was with Tiffany in Chicago which led to a variety of
opportunities with many of the top musicians and producers of the day.
From a 1968 concert at the spectacular Civic Theater in Akron OH. A cultural landmark
since 1929, the Civic's interior is fashioned after a Moorish castle, complete with
medieval carvings, Italian alabaster sculptures, and a twinkling startlit sky. Close your
eyes, imagine yourself surrounded by the Civic's beauty, and enjoy Pat's performance
with Vince Didato on Piano, Dom Pedulla on Bass, and John Banks on Drums.
In 1975, Pat sang nine of the greatest love songs ever written, equipped with only a tape
recorder and a badly out-of-tune piano. These tracks are raw, unenhanced, and
unproduced. But listen, and you will hear inspired performances, filled with conviction
and sincerity, subtle phrasing and emotional depth. Genuine talent triumphs over (crude)
technology, a refreshing contrast to the modern age of digital wizardry, when any sow's
ear can be made into a silk purse (musically speaking)!
